A Bournemouth ballet School will performs at The Pavilion Theatre this weekend
THIS weekend Western Association of Ballet Schools will be presenting their annual performance at The Pavilion Theatre with a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
On Sunday, November 20, Western Association of Ballet Schools (WABS) will be presenting their annual performance at The Pavilion Theatre.
Over 200 young dancers from seven of the schools affiliated to WABS will dance in tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II and her Platinum Jubilee earlier this year.
Western Association of Ballet Schools is a registered charity and gives children from affiliated schools these wonderful opportunities to dance on stage.
Jane Farrell, trustee and member of council for WABS said: “It was such a joy watching the Dress Rehearsal of over 200 young dancers, aged four to 18 as they practised for their performances at the Pavilion Theatre this Sunday.
“The show is “Kings and Queens”, a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
“Dances include scenes from children’s favourite films, West End shows and classical ballets, all linked by a Royal theme. “
The performances are at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
All profits from shows go back into the Charity to provide these opportunities for the children.
