This Saturday, May 27, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m., the city of Sedona’s Parks and Recreation Department will host its newest community partnership program, Free To Be Me Drum Circle, at the Posse Grounds Pavilion at 525 Posse Grounds Rd.
The Free To Be Me Drum Circle welcomes all ages, and no prior experience is required! This free event is professionally facilitated by Sabina Sandoval, who has been teaching and providing educational drumming experiences for schools, communities, and individuals for decades, and has now brought her experience to the Sedona Community as well as the surrounding Verde Valley area.
“When Free To Be Me held their event at the Pavilion a few months ago, all I saw were joyful faces of all ages. I knew right away that this should be a community partnership event, and I’m glad we’re able to partner with Sabina to make that happen!” said City of Sedona Events and Rentals Technician Jason Vargo.
For more information about Free To Be Me Drum Circle and the monthly partnership event at Posse Grounds Park, visit the Parks and Recreation Department’s programs page at www.sedonaaz.gov/programs or call (928) 282-7098.
