Though street and sidewalk dining areas (like those in the U District and Ballard) became popular during the pandemic, the city also has plenty of restaurants with great patios that aren’t right next to traffic that are perfect for soaking up the summer sun. For rainy days, Eater Seattle maintains of list of restaurants with covered and heated outdoor patios. There’s also a rooftops map for those looking to eat and drink above the city, and a list for those looking for the best views of the Seattle skyline, the lakes, and the Puget Sound.
The following list offers restaurants and with the best patios for sunny days in Seattle which also offer stellar food and drinks.
As usual, this list is not ranked; it’s organized geographically. Know of a spot that should be on our radar? Send us a tip by emailing seattle@eater.com.
