A free family event to learn about gardening and the world around us is on offer from a local library.
Little Lever Library is to host the ‘Fun with Gardening’ events which will take part over five sessions which will take place on alternate Saturdays between 11am and noon starting this weekend – January 21.
The sessions will include “fun, educational nature activities” designed to help children learn about the world around them, linking activities to books in the library. All materials will be provided.
The sessions are organised by Bolton Library and Museum Services and Groundwork Greater Manchester.
A spokesperson for Bolton Library and Museum Services said: “We’re so excited for our first Fun with Gardening event this weekend at Little Lever Library.
“Especially for families, join us alternate Saturdays 11am-12pm for five special sessions of fun, nature activities.”
Parents and carers do not require a ticket, but they can book their child’s place via the library’s Eventbrite site – www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/514876709097/
