Dearborn police were called to the 15700 block of Woodland Drive on a report of a drunk and disorderly man at about 3:15 p.m. Sept. 7.
When officers arrived, the man was sleeping in a gazebo, with his belongings next to him.
When asked, the man told officers that he used the gazebo to avoid the rain.

The man told officers that he had not exposed himself or urinated in public.
He had burglary tools with him, and had several warrants out for his arrest.
He was booked on the warrants and then transferred to the Wayne County Jail.
