Isabel Trevino, HR manager for DeSantis Landscapes, was named Employee of the Year by Lawn & Landscape magazine. Its annual Employee of the Year issue showcases four employees across the nation who initiate and lead positive change. Trevino is known for creating an atmosphere where employees feel valued and understood, company president Dean DeSantis said. She was Dean DeSantis’ first hire when he joined the company his father founded in 1974. Salem-based DeSantis Landscapes, a full-service landscape firm, also has offices in Portland, Cornelius and Sherwood.
