These will include fresh and cured meats, bakery items, sauces, chutneys, oils, craft beer, non-alcoholic wine, fudge, honey, ice-cream, crepes, chocolates, cheese, gin, whiskey, draught coffee, seaweed, black butter and Irish Cream liqueur.
The Show – that is being held at the Castle Irvine Estate, Necarne, near Irvinestown on Friday and Saturday, August 11 and 12 – is delighted to host the launch of an exciting new range of salamis by Stephen and Rachael McMaster, of The Curly Pigs, who run a herd of Mangalitza pigs – the long curly-haired breed native to Hungary.
This Fermanagh-based couple have been breeding and keeping Mangalitza pigs since 2014 and are now using their respectfully raised, outdoor farmed pigs to establish a small-batch charcuterie business.
The Mangalitsa pig is a Royal Hungarian breed known for providing world-famous, high-end pork.
The fat of the Mangalitsa is also sought after as it is high in essential, mono-unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6) and antioxidants, the mammal fat equivalent of olive and avocado oil.
Stephen and Rachael are passionate about the welfare of their pigs and about providing consumers with locally-sourced pork products that are free from allergens and unnecessary additives.
They only use meat from their own pigs, which have been slowly grown, are antibiotic-free and are only supplemented with feed that is soya-free and locally sourced (maize, barley, pea, and broad bean).
Their farming practices not only result with healthier, happier pigs but are also better for the environment and the consumer.
Their dedication to bringing their product from farm to table is showcased in the high-quality meat used in their charcuterie products.
Their products are among the exciting line-up in the Food Pavilion at Fermanagh County Show where Dunlop Kitchens, Maguiresbridge, have very generously supplied and sponsored a new mobile kitchen for their cookery demonstrations in their new showgrounds at Castle Irvine.

Those attending the Show are asked to come along and see the amazing array of talented chefs at the cookery demonstrations in the food marquee (beside the food pavilion).
Demonstrators include Glen Wheeler from 28 at The Hollow, Marty McAdam from the Street Kitchen, Stephen Holland and Adam Milliken from Lough Erne Resort, Annika Latimer from Cakes By Annika, Mark Wright from Ballylisk Dairies, Hilary Stephenson from the Livestock and Meat Commission NI, and Jordan Carty from The Chocolate Guild.
