The Longmont Ice Pavilion’s opening has been pushed back one day “due to unseasonably warm weather,” according to the city’s website.
The ice pavilion was originally expected to open today.
According to the National Weather Service, the high temperature in Longmont is slated to be 62 degrees today and 61 degrees on Saturday.
The revised plan is to open the ice pavilion on Saturday beginning with adult drop-in hockey at 8 a.m., youth drop-in hockey at 9:15 a.m. and public skating at 1 p.m.
