Jacksonville Home + Patio Show – Folio 2.0 / EU Jacksonville

January 18, 2023 by Staff Reporter

One of the largest and longest-running consumer shows in North Florida — the Jacksonville Home + Patio Show — is growing again with the addition of a third home show, Jan. 20-22 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The Spring and Fall Home + Patio Shows will take place in March and October, respectively.

As always, the show will feature the latest and most popular trends in home improvement upgrades and renovations with hundreds of trusted local and regional exhibitors available to answer questions and offer expert advice. The January show will run three days with a more streamlined floor plan compared to the fall and spring shows.

In addition to advice and inspiration from home improvement pros, the January Jacksonville Home + Patio Show includes a special appearance by Myron Mixon (aka “the winningest man in barbecue”). The four-time world barbecue champion is also a “New York Times” best-selling cookbook author, star of “BBQ Pitmasters” and founder of Myron Mixon’s Pitmaster BBQ Restaurants, who also happens to be the four-term mayor of Unadilla, Georgia. Mixon will be talking all-things barbecue, including how to prepare the perfect brisket , when he appears on the Fresh Ideas Stage , Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.

Making its debut at the January Jacksonville Home + Patio show is the “I Know Jax” Tasting Lounge (booth 724) where guests can sample locally-made brews, spirits and bites from some of the area’s favorite tastemakers. “I Know Jax” host Joe Talentino will be at the show each day to greet fans and share some of his own favorite local spots and things to do in Jacksonville. The little ones will also find inspiration at the show with The Home Depot Kids’ DIY Workshop, where they can express their creativity while working with different materials and learning to follow directions. The workshops take place daily in booth 622 from 11 a.m.–6 p.m., while supplies last.

Friday, Jan 20 is Hero Day with free admission for local frontline heroes—active duty military personnel and veterans, police, fire and first responders—who present a valid ID at the box office.

Sunday, Jan. 22 is Teacher Day with complimentary admission to educators who present a valid faculty ID at the box office.

Show hours are Friday, Jan. 20, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 22, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults (age 13+); $5 for children 6–12; and free for children 5 and under.

Seniors (60+) receive discounted admission of $5 on Friday only. Adult tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 at jacksonvillehomeandpatio.mpetickets.com.
