Landscapes subject of Delta photo workshop

January 5, 2023 by Staff Reporter

Landscapes will be the focus of a Delta Photo Club workshop this weekend.

The presentation, titled “A World of Landscape Photography,” will feature U.K.-based photographer David Clapp and take place via Zoom on Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9-11 a.m.

“A professional landscape, architecture and travel photographer for 15 years, Clapp’s approach is as much psychological as it is technical,” reads the event listing on the club’s website.

“Expect extensive behind-the-scenes knowledge and compositional advice, using examples of images from all over the world as well as his local patch of Dartmoor. We look forward to enjoying a collection of some of his finest moments.”

To learn more about Clapp and his photography, visit davidclapp.co.uk/portfolio.

To attend this week’s zoom workshop, you must either be a member of the Delta Photo Club (memberships cost $40/year for individuals, $70 for families, and $25 for youth and students; join by filling out the form at deltaphotoclub.com/member-sign-up-form) or, to join as a guest, send an e-transfer of $10 to treasurer@deltaphotoclub.com by noon on Friday, Jan. 6 (please include your name, email address and club affiliation with the transfer).

For more information about other upcoming club events, visit deltaphotoclub.com/workshops.

To learn more about the Delta Photo Club or using the Zoom platform, email president@deltaphotoclub.com.
