Crafted with 50 percent repurposed plastic, Loll Designs’ Alfresco Collection is an outdoor furniture collection from a company that avoids a linear model of production – designing out waste and pollution through the principles of a circular lifespan for their products.
For its sustainable design and production techniques, the Alfresco Collection has recently been awarded a 2023 Green Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The Alfresco Collection includes dining tables and stools made using ultra-durable material so it is guaranteed to last a lifetime and prevent more ‘stuff’ from being put into circulation.
The collection boasts Lolls’ nine iconic colors: Cloud White, Driftwood, Leaf Green, Charcoal Grey, Black, Apple Red, Sunset Orange, Navy Blue, Sky Blue.
When needed, the bar height tables and stools can be recycled or repaired instead of being sent to a landfill through services provided by Loll Designs.
Customers can request replacement parts for their furniture, send back the broken piece (which will be recycled again to be used in another product), and receive a new piece.
Through its material reutilization program, the company will ensure that products returned will be properly recycled into another product and don’t end up wasting away in a landfill.
Loll Designs has made it a priority to make their furniture assembly very simple and include easy-to-follow instructions and any tools needed for easy assembly.
