About Ferndale Community Concert Band

We are a non-profit, community band ensemble consisting of area adult musicians with varying levels of experience. The Ferndale Community Concert Band is a diverse, inclusive, multi-generational musical ensemble of experienced volunteer adult musicians from all over metro Detroit. Its Mission is twofold: to provide quality, challenging musical and mentoring experiences for the members and student musicians, as well as educating and entertaining the citizens of Ferndale and surrounding communities

The guiding principals of the Ferndale Community Concert Band are to: – Be a highly-regarded, well-known community band in the greater Detroit area. – Collaborate with and support other community arts organizations including the music programs of the Ferndale Schools. – Build strong relationships with the City of Ferndale, the Ferndale Schools, local businesses, community leaders, community members, and stakeholders. – Positively contribute to the Ferndale-area community through performances, volunteer efforts, outreach, and other initiatives.
