WOODBURY — The 2023 Woodbury Fall Clean Up Day will be held on Saturday, October 7 meeting at Hollow Park Pavilion at Hollow Road.
The Woodbury Conservation Commission welcomes families, groups and individuals to volunteer for the event. It’s a great way to help keep Woodbury roads trash free.
Those interested can sign up Saturday morning October 7 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Hollow Park Pavilion.
The event will be held rain or shine, from 8 a.m. until about noon.
Garbage bags will be available at the Hollow Pavilion. Collected trash can be brought back to the Hollow and left under the pine trees across the street from the volleyball court for pickup or brought directly to the Transfer Station on Bacon Pond Road.
There will also be a hot dog and chili barbeque for volunteers.
For the past 30 plus years, Woodbury residents have been volunteering in April and October to clean up roadside trash.
The event will take place rain or shine.
