A rugby club in New Milton has been the victim of a string of damaging attacks to their pavilion since December.
New Milton Rugby Club have seen windows smashed at the Ashley Pavilion, at the Ashley Sports Ground, in several attacks.
The damage caused will cost the Town Council, who own the ground and building, over £7,000.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said that the damage will be the subject of an insurance claim.
“We would confirm that the building has been targeted once prior to Christmas and then again over the New Year break.
“The damage is mainly to glazing units and our estates team have made temporary repairs until replacements have been fitted, the cost is around £7,500.
The spokesperson added: “CCTV footage has captured the incidents and the Town Council is working closely with the neighbourhood policing team on these incidents.”
Hampshire Police are investigating the incidents and the criminal damaged caused.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We received a report that at around 9.30pm on 31 December, damage was caused to 8 windows at the New Milton Rugby Pavilion, Normans Way, New Milton.
“There has also been a report that three further windows were damaged on 1 January 2023.
