This year’s Ocala Pride Festival is coming to the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion on Saturday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The event, which is one of the largest one-day events in Ocala, will bring LGBTQ community members and organizations together at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion located at 2232 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala.
The festival will include arts and crafts, food trucks, live entertainment, and assorted vendors. According to Ocala Pride Inc.’s website, preparations for the event are underway and entertainment will be announced in the coming days.
General admission is $1 for anyone 14 years of age and older. In a social media post, Ocala Pride Inc. explained the reasoning for this price:
“In order to ensure everybody’s safety and not allow access to protesters it has to be a closed event. So therefore we are charging the dollar admission ticket.” The organization added that current Ocala Pride members will have the $1 admission fee refunded.
Admission to the festival is free for children ages 13 and under.
VIP packages are also available, ranging from $25 to $35, along with $5 alcohol drink tickets (age verification required) and $5 tickets to attend the PRIDE after party.
