A planning application to build new changing rooms in Priesthill Park, in the Southside, was submitted to the council in 2019, and then in 2022.
Now, the bid has been changed to fit the new budget of applicant Hillwood Community Trust.
The group is asking for permission to replace the current changing facilities, made out of shipping containers and install a 270 sq m sports pavilion.
Including a reception, four changing rooms with showers, a warm-up kitchen, a separate space for match officials, and a flexible multipurpose activity hall, the new facility would sit on the Hillwood Football Club site.
If successful, the site would also contain 12 car parking spaces and two bike stands.

Documents revealed that the trust re-applied with the modifications as a result of “the significant impacts of the global pandemic, Brexit and more recently the war in Ukraine”, which led to energy cost issues and inflation.
Some of the changes made include one less external door, moving the facility 3m towards the pitch, leaving out the day collection store and more.
The previous application was accepted and the new one is currently being considered by Glasgow City Council.
