On Thursday, Sept. 8, the Platinum Pearls will perform at the new weekly series of live music, called Beat on the Patio.
Featuring some of the best musicians in the North Platte area, the patio shows are hosted by Visit North Platte from 5:30-6:30 p.m. every Thursday during September on the patio of the Visitor’s Bureau.
The Platinum Pearls consist of Mike Curtis on guitar and vocals, Tracey Curtis on keyboard and lead vocals, and Tommy Vieyra on percussion.
They belt out hits that people know and love and have been in high demand this summer in North Platte and the surrounding area.
Mike and Tracy Curtis started performing in Omaha in the 1990s. In 2019, Tommy Vieyra of North Platte joined on percussion.
The Pearls are motivated by love of music and the healing it can give to those who need it most.
The patio is on the east side of Jeffers St./ US 83, between I-80 and the South Platte River. Turn east into Halligan Drive and take the first left turn all the way to the edge of the river.
