Panto season is in full swing, and this year’s festive show is the Disney classic ‘Beauty & The Beast’.
The production is suitable for children and adults and is an absolute joy from start to finish, with singing and dancing, funny costumes and even World Cup jokes, along with that Christmas magic.
Starring Eastenders favourite Emma Barton as the TikTok fairy Bon Bon, she was hilarious throughout and got the whole audience participating.
Back by popular demand, Noel Brodie starred as Louis La Plonk, alongside Polly La Ponk (Jamie Steen).
The double act performed cracking jokes and included references for the England Lionesses winning the Euros and even joked about France losing the World Cup final – what a great touch.
The sweet and innocent Belle was acted by Ellie Green, and Mark Scott as the hideous but charming Beast, along with Travis Ross as the disliked Hugo, and Marcus Knibbs as Clement.
Produced by Martin Dodd, Beauty and the Beast was a great story line and cleverly done with impressive lighting and smooth transformation between scenes.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a trip to the pantomime, and the Pavilion has a brilliant production which isn’t to be missed.
With a cast of larger-than-life characters, side-splitting comedy, sumptuous costumes, fabulous scenery, and thrilling transformation scenes.
It runs until January 2, 2023, with performances every day except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Book your tickets at www.bhlivetickets.co.uk
