Members of Wick and District Gardening Club at their annual bulb show in the Nethercliffe Hotel on Tuesday.
Wick and District Gardening Club held its annual bulb show this week in the town’s Nethercliffe Hotel – even though the wintry weather meant the invited judges were unable to travel.
Snow may have been covering the ground but the hall itself looked very colourful and spring-like for the event on Tuesday.
Helen Hill stepped in at the last minute and gave the members an informative talk on her work with the Wick Riverside Volunteers. Maureen Miller thanked Helen.
Helen’s son Calum saved the day and judged the bulbs, while Helen judged the brooch competition.
Tea was served and the raffle drawn before the presentation of prizes.
