The pavilion at Indian Landing in Port Sydney has been vandalized.
Gary MacDonald, a club member, wrote on social media that he and a few others arrived Sunday morning to continue working on the area to find it had been damaged. “[It] sure begs the question as to why someone or more than one person would do this,” he wrote in his post.
A picture of the pavilion provided by MacDonald appears to show the eavestrough lining the top of the structure had been bent.
MacDonald explained the area was being spruced up, which included installing an eavestrough along the south end of the pavilion. It was being put in to ensure there would be a dry spot for the soon-to-be-installed barbeque.
