HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The annual Symphony of Lights kicks off Nov. 23 in Howard County. For more than 25 years, the light display at Merriweather Post Pavilion has dazzled visitors with its larger-than-life animated and stationary holiday light creations consisting of more than 3000,000 bulbs. Each year, new displays are added.
Symphony of Lights will run from Nov. 23 through Jan. 1. There is the drive-thru option and a walk-thru option. Festive Families allows families to walk through the display with strollers, wagons and backpacks. For Tail Lights, dogs must be leashed and festive costumes are encouraged. Lit at the Lights offers beer and cocktail samples, entertainment and food trucks. Midnight at 7 on New Year’s Eve includes food trucks, live music and fireworks at 7.
