The National World War II Museum will open its doors to a brand new exhibit space called the Liberation Pavilion.The three-story pavilion houses two floors of exhibit space. Officials say the new building describes the legacy of WWII in the U.S. and throughout the world. The first story of the building features sacrifices and the cost of the war. The second floor focuses on the lasting impacts, rebuilding and war crimes. On the last floor visitors will enter a theatre experience that descries each generation’s struggles for freedom and human rights.
