As part of the update, Lazy Lawn is giving customers in Toronto seven different types of low-maintenance synthetic turf to choose from for their lawn and landscaping projects. The turfs come in different weights, thatches, pile heights, and colours, making them versatile in terms of their applications.

Lazy Lawn’s seven synthetic turf options provide customers with a lot of variety in terms of how they want their yard to look and feel. Their Emerald Rye, Kentucky Blue Lite, Lemongrass, Natural Fescue, and Spring Fescue turfs, in particular, are suitable for everyday use due to their durability. Their Luxurious Fescue and Viridian Rye turfs, meanwhile, are considered premium options and are typically used to enhance the appearance of a space.
No matter which turf option the customer selects, the installation process is more or less the same. Lazy Lawn’s technicians will excavate and remove the existing grass, level the surface if needed, lay down base materials and protective measures, and install the turf. For customers who want to install the turf on their own, Lazy Lawn also offers a DIY option.
In comparison to natural grass, synthetic turf requires far less maintenance, as the need to mow, weed, and fertilize is eliminated entirely. Most customers clean their turf with water every few months, but this is the extent of the care required. In addition to being low-maintenance, synthetic turf has also been shown to increase property value and curb appeal.
