Trip outdoor furniture collection designed by Diabla

January 25, 2023 by Staff Reporter

Dezeen Showroom: Spanish brand Diabla has created a collection of “nomadic” lightweight outdoor furniture that is designed to be transportable.

Called Trip, the seating collection includes a lounge chair, director’s chair and two low-slung hammock formations, as well as a low and high table.

Trip is a collection of foldable outdoor furniture

Trip furniture is made from tubular thermo-lacquered aluminium frames that are foldable, and designed to be lightweight and easily transportable.

The collection’s resistant plastic fabric and Dryfast foam cushions are also made to withstand harsh weather conditions, making Trip seating and tables suitable to use in a variety of outdoor settings.

“This furniture has a nomadic personality,” said designers José A Gandía-Blasco and Borja García. “You can take it to any room in or out of the house without much difficulty.”

Available in multiple finishes and colours ranging from brighter shades of red and pink to cooler white and grey, Trip seating and tables are designed as minimal and adaptable pieces of furniture.

“Trip furniture is your best ally for a picnic on the beach or in the countryside. As [the pieces] take up very little space, they are easy to reorganise in large spaces such as beach clubs, hotels, and other contracting spaces,” said Diabla.

“The fresh and unique design of the Trip collection is a reflection of Diabla Outdoor’s open, cosmopolitan, and enthusiastic identity.”
