The UCLA Women’s Volleyball team (12-10, 6-7 conference) returned to Pauley after two straight weeks on the road and notched their 12th win of the season and their 6th in conference play thanks to a 3-1 victory over Arizona (25-21, 25-15, 24-26, 25-18), led by Anna Dodson (15 kills, 5 blocks), élan McCall (15 kills, 2 aces), and Charitie Luper (13 kills, 1 block). After going up 2 sets to none over the Wildcats, the Bruins had a chance to close out the match in set 3 after scoring 4 consecutive points to go up 24-23, but Arizona was able to close out the set by scoring the final 3 points. The Bruins were able to capture set 4 by winning 9 of the final 11 points of the set after the score was tied at 16-16. UCLA will face Arizona State with a chance to even their conference record at Pauley Pavilion at noon on Sunday.
