In May of 2006, Wray’s Landscaping Inc. opened for business, serving both residential and commercial customers in Mifflin, Juniata and Snyder counties. They are a fully insured business and offer free estimates.
In the spring of 2015, Wray’s Landscaping Inc., in addition to all their other services, opened a new full retail store to better serve the community. The Home and Garden Center offers different types of mulches, river stone, crushed red brick, white landscape stone, limestone for driveways, firewood, sand, screened and unscreened topsoil. They also have hardscaping materials such as retaining wall blocks, caps, shrubs, bushes, trees, fruit trees, perennials, annuals, hanging baskets and patio pots.
The Garden Center products also include hand tools, potting soil, fertilizer for grass and garden plants, grass seed, etc. It also has locally produced, Pennsylvania made maple syrup, maple barbecue sauce, and maple mustard.
They also carry a line of candles, tart warmers, along with many of the day-to-day items needed for your home landscaping, including potting soil, plant fertilizers, and grass seed varieties.
Wray’s Landscaping Inc. provides a full line of year round services. Some of the services are lawn maintenance, installation of new lawns, hardscapes, custom hauling, mini-excavator and skid loader work, as well as snow removal.
Lawn maintenance includes everything from mowing and trimming the grass on your property then blowing the trimmed grass from driveways, porches and sidewalks, lawn renovations, to applying fertilizer, weed control, insect and pest control to lawns based off of either their premium or basic granulated fertilization or weed control programs. They also offer spraying of lawns and weeds with a specialized product designed to kill specific weeds in your lawn and not harm your desired lawn grass.
Other landscaping services include
-Cutting a true edge around mulch/flower beds by removing weeds and needed high areas of old mulch, then applying “snapshot,” a granulated herbicide for weed control
